Freudenberg-NOK is the North American headquarters for packaging and distribution of the Corteco and TransTec brands. The 265,000 sq. ft. facility in Milan, OH has been in operation since 1978.
TransTec® began in Milan, Ohio, in 1978 as the aftermarket division of International Packings Corp. (IPC), initially packaging rebuild kits for automatic transmissions. By 1985, it expanded to include rack and pinion kits for power steering, as well as pump and gear kits.
As automatic transmissions gained popularity globally, TransTec broadened its offerings to include kits for all makes and models. In 1989, Freudenberg-NOK acquired IPC, bringing TransTec into the Freudenberg family. This transition enhanced the brand’s reputation, supported by the exceptional quality of its products and customer service.
